Cambridge University Women's Cricket Club

CUWCC is the women’s section of Cambridge University Cricket Club. The club exists to promote the sport of cricket, and encourage more women to play and enjoy the game. We provide opportunities both for beginners to learn new cricketing skills and for more experienced players to receive top-class coaching. Players of all abilities are welcome and anyone interested in joining the club should contact captain Nikki Ravi (

The team is currently entered in the British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) Midlands 1a Division and will be competing against Oxford, Nottingham and Warwick, Loughborough and Leicester. The team also competes in a number of friendlies throughout the season as well as the Varsity T20 match and the 50-over Varsity match that takes place at Lord’s cricket ground. A summary of last year's matches can be found here, and a full list of this season’s fixtures is available in the Fixtures Section.

This year, the club participated for the first time in the BUCS Indoor Cricket tournament. These matches were played at Edgebaston, in a league with Nottingham, Loughborough, Warwick, Coventry and Birmingham.
